About
The Association was formed in February 1951, the idea being to give retiring members of Rolls-Royce various interests to follow when they finished full time working.
Over the last 20 years there have been many changes; some of the sections are not now operating, but the Retired Employees Association is still very active. The main part of our work is organising events, holidays and trips and we have a very popular social meeting on the second Tuesday of each month, which regularly attracts over 100 people who come along to book places on the events/trips we’re organising and to enjoy food and drinks at the Pavilion.
Because the Organising Committee are all volunteers we can keep costs for these events/trips to a minimum and so they are excellent value for money.
